FB Group has recently been awarded a contract for the fabrication, assembly, testing and load-out of a subsea Pipe Line End Termination package (PLET) and a skid mounted Pig Launcher Receiver package for a LNG to electricity conversion project.
Delivery of these packages is scheduled for the end of 2020 which is considered challenging due to the high-quality standards required for subsea structures.
The PLET’s length is 17 meters long where the width is 11 meters and height 9 meters. The total assembled weight of the unit is approx. 100 tons.
FB has a strong track record in the fabrication and testing of subsea equipment with demanding technical challenges. Fabrication has already commenced.
