FB Group has been awarded an order for the fabrication of nineteen crossing supports for a subsea pipeline project. When installed by our client, the supports will be resting on the sea bed at a depth of approximately 1.600 m where it will be supporting the new subsea pipeline as it crosses existing pipelines or cables.
The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year, a challenging task considering the high quality standards maintained for subsea structures.
The scope consists of three types of crossing supports of approximate 7 meters long and varying in width from 2,75 meters for the smallest to 6 meters for the largest. The weight of the structures varies between 7,5 tons and 18,5 tons each. In total, more than 250 tons of steel will be processed into the constructions.
